Athena P. Constantinou has over 30 years of experience in the financial field. Athena holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, with specialization in Accounting and Business Law, from the Bernard M. Baruch School of Business of the City University of New York. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Computer Information Systems from the same school. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York and she is an international member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She also holds a Chartered Global Management certification, a Financial Education Instructor certification from the US National Financial Educators Council and she is a member of the Sports Financial Advisers Association, the British Association of Sport and Law and the International Wealth Planners Association. She is a member of ACAMS and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.

Athena has had considerable professional experience on an international level in the fields of financial and business consulting, advising high net worth individuals and entities in the sports and entertainment industries for more than 30 years. She has practiced as a CPA for a number of years in New York City with in depth involvement in international financial planning and business consulting in the sports and entertainment industries. During her career, Athena has also been heavily involved in providing advice in connection with financial planning, development, valuation, commercialization and management of image rights of athletes and entertainers worldwide.

Since the establishment of the APC Sports Financial Literacy Academy, five years ago, she has been designing and implementing financial literacy courses for sports academies and sports clubs globally. She also advises sports organizations and stakeholders on Anti-Money Laundering and Sports Integrity matters.

Michael Huber is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® as accredited by the Association of Applied Sport Psychology. He is owner and operator of Follow The Ball LLC, a mental performance coaching practice based in Red Bank, New Jersey. Michael has also been a sport coach at the recreational, travel, and high school levels. 

Michael’s primary mission is to help young athletes become confident problem solvers through building mental and emotional skills that can be applied and practiced in both sport and life. Michael’s specializes in serving the families of athletes ranging in age from 12 to 22 years old. His most important job, however, is as father to two competitive soccer athletes, Patrick,16, and Lucy, 14.

Dr. Kim Hollingdale is a licensed psychotherapist and Certified Mental Performance Consultant on a mission to help athletes crush their goals—both on and off the field. A retired athlete herself with a doctorate in clinical and sport psychology and more than a decade’s experience working with youth and adult athletes, Kim knows what it takes to reach peak performance.

Kim provides services for Division I Loyola Marymount University (LMU), where she provides mental health and performance coaching to student-athletes balancing the demands of classes, competition, and life. Kim is also the lead therapist for the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks, helping elite basketball players fine-tune their mental game and perform at the highest level.

In her private sport psychology practice, MOVEMENTAL, Kim works with athletes from all over the world, addressing game-day nerves, confidence slumps, anxiety, depression, and disordered eating. Using evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, EMDR, and somatic experiencing, she empowers athletes to overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential.

Originally from Los Angeles, Cherokee Washington is a sport professional, DEI consultant, and former NCAA DII and DIII volleyball player based in Vancouver, BC. Throughout her athletic career, Cherokee received several team and individual accolades including an Elite 8 appearance, SAC Conference Champions, Defensive Player of the Year, and multiple American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic honors. Post-graduation, Cherokee transitioned to coach volleyball at the youth, high school, collegiate, and club levels in the US and Canada.

Cherokee possesses an MA in Sport Psychology from McGill University, where she gained expertise in cultural sport psychology, coaching science, coach-athlete relationships, coach cultural competency training, and sport sociology. Her Master’s research (published in the Journal of Applied Sport Psychology) focuses on how race affects coach-athlete relationships at the collegiate level. Additionally, Cherokee currently holds several professional sport roles; Sport and Active Living Coordinator for the Métis Nation BC, Operations Director at Alston for Athletes, and Mental Performance Coach (as she is pursuing a CMPC certification). Ultimately, Cherokee’s coaching philosophy and professional approaches are informed by her experiences as an Afro-Indigenous athlete, education, passion for community development, and DEI background which allow her to support athletes’ performances through a culturally competent lens.

Sunnita Blount, Esq. is an Attorney who believes in providing the best resolutions to all who are in need of legal assistance. She displays this belief through her work as a Sports, Entertainment, and Business Attorney. Through her practice she allows her clients to focus on their talents and she ensures their brand is legally protected. Attorney Blount is a Chicago, IL native, but now calls Atlanta, GA home. However, her location does not halt her passion for community service, which drives her to participate in a multitude of volunteer programs that provide services to the disadvantaged.  Further, she is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., served on the board for the Atlanta Chapter of the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment, Assistant VC of Events for Women in Music-Atlanta, Black Sports Professionals Atl member, BESLA -YLD, public speaker, owns a lifestyle blog- Melanin Overload and brunch group - City Brunch Gworlz. Porsché S. Love is a San Antonio, TX native and a graduate of Southern University and A&M College. While attending Southern University, she became a member of the Black Executive Exchange Program and Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity Inc. She graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Mass Communication with a concentration in Radio and Television.

Porsché Love is a Financial Advisor, with 10 years of default mortgage experience and over 13 years in the Entertainment Industry. She uses the knowledge she gained through her experiences to educate and guide individuals, families and business owners in her community in making more informed and strategic decisions. Being the daughter and granddaughter of educators, Porsché Love recognizes her calling is to educate and be of service to individuals who are in underserved communities.
